I have not noticed any difference in in pain or 'stress' relief. Also, after adjusting the temperature to a certain degree, the mat heats several degrees ABOVE i.e. I set at 112*, but it heats to/above 115*. Unfortunately, I'm not happy with this FIR heat pad. Sorry.

Just received this pad but we've had a large 4 Therapy mat for a couple months now and are very pleased with it. We wanted a glorified heating pad and this is well worth the little extra money spent. Great company to deal with from customer service to support.

This product is flexible enough that I can place it in my chair and it will cover my back and my bottom. I use it all day while I sit at my desk at work and it helps so much with stiffness and back pain. When I get up to run an errand or something my body is already loose. It helps me keep my energy up throughout the day and I feel good when I get home from work. It’s small enough that I can take it home with me without any hassle. Sometimes I’ll use it while watching TV at home for the same effects I get during the day. I recommend everyone with a desk job try it out. I used to have a lot more pain from sitting all day. It’s a major relief.

I have this mat and absolutely love it. We have the long JTA mat as well. MY only issue with this mat is that the controller fails after about 6 months of daily use. That is certainly not the fault of HealthyWave. The manufacturer of the controller needs to upgrade. That being said, within hours of contacting HealthyWave, I have an email response and a new controller within days. They have replaced it twice.
I had sinus surgery in July and I know my recovery was expedited by the use of my mat. I give this product 5 stars. I would give the company 10!

High-Quality Heating pad! It’s the first Infrared heating pad I’ve used and I’ve noticed it doesn’t irritate my skin like a regular pad. I really appreciate that it doesn’t have any chemical odor. This device has incredible properties which have improved my wellness greatly. It cured my chronic back pains and healed the discomfort I had experienced after breaking my arm. The only issue I had was the firmness of the mat which required some time to get adjusted. But once you have done this – you can do it all right at home in your bed or couch!

As a massage therapist, it is important to me that products help me with de-stressing my clients. Before I work on their muscles I always place this mat on their back for about 20-30 minutes to loosen things up and remove resistance.
