I bought the 18x18 FIR Therapy mat initially to use on my horse, who was just diagnosed with Kissing Spine (back pain issues). Prior to using it on her, I thought I'd try it out on myself. I use my body hard, between my work and the gym, and have carpal tunnel in both wrists. Falling asleep is often difficult, with so many aches and pains. Since using this mat, I have not once needed to take pain medication, or benadryl to fall asleep! I sleep so soundly, and wake refreshed! I have since used it on my horses back, and while she was skeptical at first, all indications point to her experiencing deep relaxation and relief from her back pain! I am so impressed. Had this mat for up until just after the warranty expired (15 month) and it stopped heating. I was under the impression the warranty was 5 years but that’s just for the controller not the actual mat. I messaged their customer service and they were very helpful, but would not cover the faulty mat and said it was the mat not the controller (idk how they can tell which is not working) loved this mat while it was working but I feel like it should have lasted longer. It is way better than a regular heating pad, rlly gets deeper with the heat into ur muscles. It’s nice to sleep with cause it’s fairly flexible. The mat got used everyday and it still looks in rlly good shape just something internal stopped working. I was gonna buy a larger mat with pemf but I’m glad I didn’t that’s a lot of money to be out of if it stops working after the short warranty period. I like that this mat is really soft for a mat with stones! And its healing properties are undoubted, I can feel the FIR going through my body alleviating pain and improving my health. I wish I had bought a bigger one to heal all my body not just certain parts.
This wonderful product helped me to restore after severe leg trauma, it combatted the pain and cut the recovery period to the minimum. After my leg was healed, I’ve been using it just for relaxation. Though, the wire is too short as for me.
