Healthy Wave PEMF Mat Vs QRS (Pure Wave) PEMF Mat Comparison

The QRS 101 is the original PEMF Mat designed and released by Quantron Resonance System, this same mat is now marketed under the brand PureWave. The mats appear to be identical and some old QRS domains direct towards the PureWave website. This comparison we will show how the Healthy Wave Mats compare to the QRS 101 / PureWave PEMF Mat.

The Healthy wave mats focus on true earth based frequencies within the 0-30Hz range.

• Our Advanced Multi-Wave controller allows you to choose 1-30Hz as well as adjust the pulse width from M, F and UF, change from sine to square waves and adjust intensity from 10%-100%. There are 12 preset advanced programs that take you through different combinations of PEMF therapy using these settings. You can also custom program any advanced programs you want.

QRS and PureWave both give limited information about their programs and type of pulse. We have tested a QRS 101 and will share the results of what each of their 3 programs does.

Each program uses the same basic pulse which is about a 0.5ms long pulse, if this were ran continuously you were get approximately 2000Hz. These pulses are spaced out by about 4ms so you would get 250 pulses in a second if there were no extended pauses.

Vital Mode consists of intensity modulated pulse bursts of about 20 pulses in a row at various intervals.

Basics Mode consists of 4 intensity modulated pulse bursts in a repeatable pattern. There are 4 pulse bursts over 150ms followed and equal length pause. Each pulse burst has 8 individual pulses in a row before a quick pause before the next pulse burst is done.

Relax Mode consists of long intensity modulated pulse bursts that last about 500ms and increase and decrease in intensity about 5 times. This pattern is followed by a smaller intensity modulated pulse burst which repeats twice before running the long 500ms pulse burst again.

There are also 3 intensity levels you can choose from with the Relax setting only having the sensitive and medium setting.
From our testing the sensitive setting had an extremely negligible intensity of only 20 milli gauss which even at the surface of the mat was almost undetectable at such a low intensity.

• From the options the Healthy Wave Mats provide you have more programs and frequencies in all the different mat models available. You also can choose true earth based frequencies of 1-30 pulses per second.
• Our advanced controller has more intensity settings compared to the QRS 101/ PureWave. The QRS 101/ PureWave has limited intensity settings and the sensitive program is so low it was almost undetectable at the surface of the mat.
• The QRS 101/ PureWave only has its one pulse type which is repeated at various intensities whereas with the Healthy Wave Advanced Controller you can choose between the Sine or the Square wave and change the frequencies aka spacing of the pulses.
• There is only the one pulse width with the QRS 101 / PureWave of approximately 0.5ms which would provide about a 2000Hz frequency if ran continuously. There various marketing which talks about “harmonics”  but this is not possible without varying pulse widths which were not present from our measurements.
• With the Healthy Wave Multi-Wave Advanced Controller we let you choose from 3 different pulse widths. The medium pulse (.16ms) which has a very low magnetic frequency spectrum under 100Hz in the same range as earth based frequencies. Our Fast pulse (5ms) option which is around 200Hz or our UF pulse (0.5ms) which is around 2000Hz. This allows you to choose which type of frequencies you want or you can use our preset programs which will use a variety of these pulse widths so you can get multiple of these frequencies in 1 PEMF session.

• The Healthy Wave Mat High Intensity Pro Mat has a peak gauss of over 30.
• The basic controller which comes with older classic 5 therapy models of mats and the Multi--Wave mat has a peak gauss of over 18.
• The Advanced Controller which comes with the Multi-Wave Mat has a peak gauss of 6.5.
• The 5 therapy High Intensity Matrix pad has a peak intensity over 40 gauss.

The QRS 101/ PureWave intensity is not clearly advertised but from our testing we found the full body mat had the following intensities on the full body mat with the pad having intensities 3x larger.

Sensitive – 20 milli gauss
Medium – 400 milli gauss (0.4 gauss)
Intensive – 900 milli gauss (0.9 gauss)

All  models of Healthy Wave Mats have higher intensity compared to the QRS 101/ PureWave full body mat and pad. Healthy Wave intensities are inline with what intensities have found to be effective & therapeutic by independent research studies. Higher intensity is important as PEMF fields dissipate quicker as you move away from them.

The Healthy Wave High Intensity mat delivers much higher intensity at all levels above the mat. While the QRS 101/ PureWave does have a good coil design (much better then other low intensity mats we tested) with a large wires looped around the mat creating a slower drop the very low starting intensity (even when measuring using the intensive setting) this still leaves you will lower intensities at all levels.

Through near field probe testing the Healthy Wave Mats have zero unintended voltage spikes

The QRS 101 / PureWave did not have any unintended voltage spikes that were detectable using the Near Field Prove testing.

Testing for RF Radiation the Healthy Wave Mat has 0 detectable using the TriField Meter

Testing for RF Radiation the QRS had relatively high levels of 95 microwatts when the mat was running in certain spots and up to 142 microwatts when just plugged in and not running.

The Heathy Wave Mat is completely free of all electrosmog / dirty electricity. While the QRS company and many distributors claim the mat to be electrosmog free, which is true in regard to lower frequencies, we found moderate levels of RF frequencies compared to other PEMF mats which some may consider a type of electrosmog. The TriField meter measures 20Mhz to 6Ghz which is therefore frequency range of the detected RF frequencies.

The Healthy Wave Mats are much more then just a PEMF Mat as we say they are a “5 Therapy Mat” The additional therapies include; Far Infrared Heat, Negative Ions, Low Level Red Light Therapy and natural Crystal Energy. It is easy to receive all these therapies as well as they are all integrated into the mat!
