Higher Dose advertises 4 programs of 3-23Hz.

From our testing there are only 4 programs at 2.5Hz, 5.45Hz, 7.5Hz and 15Hz.

From the options the Healthy Wave Mats provide you have more programs and frequencies in all the different mat models available. Like most imitations there are limited PEMF frequencies to select from.

• The Healthy Wave Mat High Intensity Pro Mat has a peak gauss of over 30.
• The basic controller which comes with older classic 5 therapy models of mats and the Multi--Wave mat has a peak gauss of over 18.
• The Advanced Controller which comes with the Multi-Wave Mat has a peak gauss of 6.5.
• The 5 therapy High Intensity Matrix pad has a peak intensity over 40 gauss.

The HigherDose Infrared PEMF Mats do not advertise their gauss. From Our testing we were able to find a peak gauss of 4.7.

All models of Healthy Wave Mats have higher intensities then the Higher Dose mat which were below 5 gauss. Healthy Waves most comparable mats such as the 4&5 therapy mats deliver almost 4x the intensity as the HigherDose mat does. With our new High Intensity mats delivering over 6x the intensity.

The Healthy Wave uses 6-8 pemf coils on its full sized mats where the HigherDose full sized mat only uses 4 pemf coils on its full sized mat. These 4 coils are all positioned in the center of the mat near the middle and the top. This creates a limited area of the mat which receives the PEMF therapy with the foot of the mat having little to no coverage and the top of the mat only having some intenstiy near the center.

Through near field probe testing the Healthy Wave Mats have zero unintended voltage spikes.

Both the  Heathy Wave Mats and Higher Dose mats are completely free of all electro smog / dirty electricity including being free of high EMFs from the heating wires. This is good as other imitation and knock off infrared PEMF mats did not have EMF Free heating wires.

The Healthy Wave Mats are much more then just a PEMF Mat as we say they are a “5 Therapy Mat” The additional therapies include; Far Infrared Heat, Negative Ions, Low Level Red Light Therapy and natural Crystal Energy. Healthy Wave Mats include free covers & a sauna blanket as well as extended warranties with full warranty periods of 2+ years and limited warranties up to 5 years. There is also a lifetime trade in program.

You must purchase covers to protect your mat separately from higher dose with their full sized cover costing $79 USD. No sauna blanket is included. The Higher Dose Mat Warranty is only 1 year long and there is no trade in program.

While they are comparable in feature such as infrared heat and being electro smog / EMF free that is where is similarities end.
